Manufactured from polyurethane, which is wear-resistant to ensure a long service life, the collar’s updated design has more flexible qualities, which greatly improves the lubrication process. This additional flexibility allows the seal to move with the rope, massaging and compressing the lubricant deep into your wire rope, covering all the strands and reaching the centre core. The complete coverage, penetration and consistency improve the effectiveness of the wire rope lubricants, providing better wear resistance, corrosion protection, and longevity.
Our new design is also capable of removing moisture buildup and water from the wire ropes before massaging the wire rope lubricant deep into the core. Moisture is the main cause of corrosion; therefore, removing it further increases your wire rope life. The collar compresses the oils deep into the centre core, preventing any drip or lubricant loss and ensuring every strand receives exposure to the lubricant. The flexibility of the new seal design eliminates leakage, providing a safer work environment for workers.
